7. Starlink and SpaceX — Independence and Disclaimers
7.1 No Affiliation
Nexus Telemetry is an independent product developed by Liquidbinary Ltd. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way associated with Space Exploration Technologies Corp. ("SpaceX") or Starlink. "Starlink" and "SpaceX" are trademarks of Space Exploration Technologies Corp.
7.2 How the Software Interacts with Starlink Hardware
The Software connects to your Starlink terminal and, where present, your Starlink router over your local network using publicly accessible gRPC interfaces provided by the Starlink hardware. The Software reads telemetry data that your Starlink terminal makes available on your local network. It does not modify your hardware settings, firmware, or configuration unless you explicitly initiate such an action (e.g. requesting a terminal reboot through the app).
7.3 No Warranty of Compatibility
SpaceX may, at any time and without notice, change, restrict, discontinue, or remove the gRPC interfaces, protocols, or data fields that the Software relies upon. Such changes may partially or entirely prevent the Software from functioning. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee that the Software will work with all Starlink hardware models, firmware versions, or future updates.
7.4 No Liability for Starlink Hardware or Services
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liquidbinary Ltd accepts no liability whatsoever for:
- •Any damage to, malfunction of, or degradation in performance of your Starlink terminal, router, or any other connected equipment
- •Any interruption, degradation, or loss of your Starlink internet service
- •Any breach of SpaceX's or Starlink's terms of service arising from your use of the Software
- •Any changes to Starlink's firmware, hardware, services, or APIs that affect the Software's functionality
- •Any costs, losses, or expenses arising from incompatibility between the Software and your Starlink equipment
7.5 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- •Ensuring your use of the Software complies with Starlink's terms of service and any applicable SpaceX policies
- •Any actions you take through the Software that affect your Starlink hardware (such as rebooting your terminal)
- •Evaluating whether the Software is suitable for your particular Starlink hardware configuration
- •Maintaining your own backups of any data or configurations
8. Data Collection and Privacy
The Software offers optional, anonymous data sharing features (App Analytics and Hardware Insights) that you may choose to enable. These are described in full in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all Starlink hardware models, firmware versions, or network configurations.
Consumer rights notice: If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, this disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIQUIDBINARY LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us for the Software in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.
Consumer rights notice: This limitation does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

By you: You may terminate your licence at any time by uninstalling the Software. For Pro subscriptions, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Effect of termination: Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the jurisdiction in which you are resident.
